Guide to Creative Commons Licenses and Reuse

Attribution Attribution(BY) Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits (attribution) in the manner specified by these.
Share-alike Share-alike(SA) Licensees may distribute derivative works only under a license identical ("not more restrictive") to the license that governs the original work. (See also copyleft.) Without share-alike derivative works might be sublicensed with compatible but more restrictive license clauses, e.g. CC BY to CC BY-NC.)
Non-commercial Non-commercial (NC) Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only for non-commercial purposes.
Non-derivative No Derivative Works (ND) Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform only verbatim copies of the work, not derivative works andremixes based on it.

    Microeconomics lecture videos and open courseware designed to be self-paced.
  • Open Economics
    An Open Knowledge Foundation project providing open content, data and code related to economics. The Open Economics Working Group is run by the Open Knowledge Foundation in association with the Centre for Intellectual and Property Law (CIPIL) at the University of Cambridge.
  • Open Yale
    Open courses in economic topics from Yale.
  • Khan Academy
    Videos on micro and macro economic topics.
  • Coursera - free online courses
    Free courses in Economics. These run as a MOOC (massive open online course) so you will be taking them at the same time as hundreds of other students. These are real courses though with real instructors from top universities worldwide.
